Weddings are such an awesome glimpse into people's lives and personalities. I love seeing how people incorporate themselves into this VERY important day. I met with this bride several months before her wedding after she was referred from another bride of mine, and when she described her wedding vision it made me want to get married all over again. I was looking forward to this wedding, it was set to take place at a beautiful rustic venue in Hesperia, California and in getting to know this beautiful couple I realized it was PERFECT for them. A gorgeous wedding for a wonderful couple! Congratulations to the Bride and Groom!

Handsome.

I love when I get the opportunity to do maternity and newborn photos for one baby. It's kind of like I get to see a before-and-after for the whole family. I worked with this sweet baby's mom, dad, brother and sisters a few months ago for maternity photos and was delighted to go meet the little guy for his newborn photos.It was so nice to spend a few hours with mom again, swap labor stories, and get some awesome photos of the little prince.

Elated

Taking pictures with a small child can be stressful. When we're working against the sun and they're going to get their clothes dirty and they're hungry it's just a lot to deal with. I see it EVERY DAY, so it doesn't phase me anymore but I always empathize with parents who seem to be so stressed out over kids being... well, being kids.

This sweet little family was worried about their 7 month-old not cooperating, since he's... ya know, 7 months old. I assured them that I work with kids every day not to stress, we'll get them some great photos. I could sense their proactive worry, but this little dude was SO GOOD and SO COOPERATIVE, even I, who sees this every day, was surprised. He was a PRO. It was like he did this every day and I think Mom and Dad's happiness with that really shows. I loved this session and I look forward to working with them again.
