Happy Easter! What a wonderful time of year this is - preparing to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, the weather is beautiful, there are baby animals everywhere - it's such a great time. I have been working hard with LOTS of Easter themed sessions lately - and I had to share some with you! 

Hope your Easter is filled with more family and blessings than you can keep track of!

You'd think that as many weddings as I see that I could kind of predict what to expect ahead of time. You'd think that as closely as I work with brides that I'd be able to peg the style or scale of the weddings I do before I even arrive on site.

Nope.

Such is especially true with this wedding. This wonderful bride contacted me just a few short months before her wedding - really before anyone else even knew she was engaged - and described a casual mid-day ceremony with a luncheon reception. The level of formality of a wedding doesn't really change the way we work them, but I honestly didn't expect the elegant, detailed, fine-tuned affair that was waiting for us. It was a breathtakingly beautiful wedding. I am so blessed to call this Mr. and Mrs. my clients and my friends!

So. Many. Babies.

Seems like every day I'm getting a call or email about a newborn session - and I couldn't be happier about it! I love working with babies - it gives me a chance to visit my client's home, get a feel for their style, and bring out the family's personality though these precious once-in-a-lifetime newborn photos. I am so blessed to be a part of this exciting time for so many families - there just isn't time to blog about every individual baby!
