Weddings are such an awesome glimpse into people's lives and personalities. I love seeing how people incorporate themselves into this VERY important day. I met with this bride several months before her wedding after she was referred from another bride of mine, and when she described her wedding vision it made me want to get married all over again. I was looking forward to this wedding, it was set to take place at a beautiful rustic venue in Hesperia, California and in getting to know this beautiful couple I realized it was PERFECT for them. A gorgeous wedding for a wonderful couple! Congratulations to the Bride and Groom!

I love when I get the opportunity to do maternity and newborn photos for one baby. It's kind of like I get to see a before-and-after for the whole family. I worked with this sweet baby's mom, dad, brother and sisters a few months ago for maternity photos and was delighted to go meet the little guy for his newborn photos.It was so nice to spend a few hours with mom again, swap labor stories, and get some awesome photos of the little prince.

Elated

Taking pictures with a small child can be stressful. When we're working against the sun and they're going to get their clothes dirty and they're hungry it's just a lot to deal with. I see it EVERY DAY, so it doesn't phase me anymore but I always empathize with parents who seem to be so stressed out over kids being... well, being kids.

This sweet little family was worried about their 7 month-old not cooperating, since he's... ya know, 7 months old. I assured them that I work with kids every day not to stress, we'll get them some great photos. I could sense their proactive worry, but this little dude was SO GOOD and SO COOPERATIVE, even I, who sees this every day, was surprised. He was a PRO. It was like he did this every day and I think Mom and Dad's happiness with that really shows. I loved this session and I look forward to working with them again.

Loyal.

There really isn't much more I can ask for than return clients. I'm very blessed to have many of them! I met this family when mom was pregnant with baby #2 and we did her maternity photos. Then we did newborn photos once the little princess arrived and I also recently went to see them for family Christmas photos! Now we are looking forward to getting together again for big brother's birthday photos next year. I absolutely ADORE this family and can't wait to see them again!

I've been so blessed to have come across such wonderful people - people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I truly enjoy seeing the different family dynamics of those who come my way, and I learn so much about my own family by watching others. This BIG, Italian family asked me to take their family portraits, and It was such a fun experience. I got some great shots of these sweet, funny, friendly, not to mention good looking people, and then they invited me over for lasagna and wine! Doesn't get much better than that!

As a mom of a little girl, there's just something about little boys that is so different - they're spontaneous, and loud, and exponentially more resillient, and just, well nuts, as compared to my methodic, soft-spoken, sensitive little girl. 

This little prince recently turned 4 and his parents, clients/friends who are planning a wedding and both work full time and go to school, finally found time to meet with me to do his four-year portraits. It was a nice break for them, while the little man and I walked through the park and snapped pictures, they had a few minutes of quiet, which, as parents of a little boy, they don't get too often. I was so pleased with the photos - SUCH a sweet boy!

Thankful.

It's funny, how God puts the right people in your path. Almost a year ago, I was working a wedding and the aunt of the bride looked me up on facebook so she could see sneek peaks of the wedding photos. I didn't think too much of it until I got a phone call for a family session from a friend of hers. Then an email from a friend of hers for a wedding. Then another email for a family session. This one person came across so many people who were looking for a photographer and she was kind enough to send them all my way. So when the time came to do her family session, I was thrilled to make the drive to the country club where this wonderful supporter-turned-friend got married, even though it was an hour and a half away. It was totally worth the opportunity to personally thank her for all she'd done for my business and to get some awesome images of her and her beautiful family.

When meeting with this bride several months ago, she told me her wedding would take place at the private residence of a family friend. I'd done backyard weddings before, so I thought I knew what to expect, but when I visited the site with the groom before the wedding, I was taken aback by how beautiful this venue was. This three story estate featured a beautiful pool and tennis court, where the actual ceremony and reception would take place, and plenty of beautiful photo locations throughout the grounds. Also playing a part in their big day was the groom's grandfather's classic car, the style and color of which was the inspiration for the rest of the wedding. I was in awe of how beautiful this weddding was, and so pleased with the photos. Congratulations to this bride and groom!

Romantic.

I admire and appreciate organized brides and grooms. I wasn't one. There aren't many. That's just the nature of wedding planning. This couple, however, booked me almost a year before their 2013 wedding. With demanding jobs and schedules, it was hard us to schedule an engagement session, but after three reschedules, we finally got together. We agreed on a couple different locations we felt were fitting of their personality, and they requested a separate session at a local winery where they are members. The results were beautiful; expressive, genuine, and romantic, just like them.

Breezy.

I was contacted on Facebook by a client who wanted two-year portraits for her little one. She had some GREAT ideas and I was very excited to meet with her. On the day of her session, it was windy, and I was a little concerned about taking a two year-old out in the wind and expecting her to cooperate for photos. Luckily, this little princess was PERFECT and turned out to be super photogenic. I was so pleased with this session, I had to share.
